I began preaching in 1968 at the Darien Loop congregation here in Houston. I have preached in Cuero, TX., Delhi, LA., Laurel, MS., and Long Beach, MS. I moved back to Houston in February of 1978 to preach for the Kinwood congregation and then for the Lindale church of Christ for 33 years.
I have been preaching for 53 years.
I am a graduate of the White’s Ferry Road School of Biblical Studies in West Monroe, LA. And have taken correspondence courses in New Testament Greek from the Moody Bible institute.
I have preached Gospel Meetings in Texas, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Mississippi, and Florida.
While at Lindale I directed and taught in the Greater Houston School of Biblical Studies which began as the HOuston Preacher Education School (acronym HO.P.E.S.)
Judy and I have been married for 57 years. We have two children Tom who is married to Melissa and Shari who is married to Joe Owen. We have four grandchildren T.J., Lauren, Marissa, and MacAaron.
